If this was parked any farther into the street, it would have blocked traffic

That is about 2 and 1/2 feet away from the curb, and was there while the driver got out and used the atm. ... maybe the BMW is afraid of curbs? Perhaps BMW's aren't easy to gauge the distance to the curb in? Maybe the driver found their drivers license in a box of Cracker Jacks?
