This might be the reason Carroll sued Ford over the rights to the "Cobra" naming rights

In which the Ford company thought they would be justified in naming a piece of crap "Cobra II" and using Carroll's photo and the GT 350 Cobra Mustang to convince us that this 76 Cobra II was worth our attention
