The above Morris was found in Kathmandu

The middle photo is a Hudson and bottom is a Buick, and they were photographed in 1962 in New Zealand.. and all photos are from http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/fire-engine.htm and I learned of it from Romano in Pakistan who let us know about the olod Merryweather fire engines he's helping to restore... thanks Romano! Mini Coopers and Innocenti were well represented with a variety at the British car show

I think the VTEC Honda engine has to drastically improve the power to weight ratio... must be a ball to drive!
And the way they customized the bonnet to get out of the way of the mechanic.. I wonder why this hasn't been done before? Tilt forward hoods and front ends aren't uncommon.. but this is one unique trick!Labels: British, Cooper, Gauges, Innocenti, innovation, innovative, mini, Morris, radio, speedometer
