Honda is attempting to ease the pain of the new VAT rise in Europe for consumers by absorbing this price increase throughout January. Honda is also adding three years of complimentary service and a range of flexible financing options for new vehicles until April 2011. These deals apply to the CR-V, certain Civics, Accords, Insights and CR-Zs. These are compounded upon Honda's one year roadside assistance program and their three-year warranty.
Martin Moll of Honda UK said, "Our New Year's resolution was to keep helping our customers drive down the cost of new car ownership and three years' free servicing combined with finance options is a great start. Plus, we wanted to take the sting off the VAT price rise, 2.5% is a significant amount on large purchases such as cars and it all adds up."
