Rumors continue to swirl around the web about a possibility of a reincarnation of the old Honda Beat. Honda will be combining the best of its car technologies coupled with motorcycle technologies to assist in the development of the vehicle. To those who may not remember, the original Beat was only sold in Japan, featuring a small front-wheel drive 660cc engine with a drop-top and two seats. It appears that the new model will be based on the CR-Z platform and will take cues off of the OSM concept that debut in 2008. It is also widely rumored for the new Beat to tip the scales at around 2100 pounds. Thankfully the rumors seem to say that the Beat will not be hybridized.
