Looks almost real, but it isn't. Great mock up though, I believe this has a VW bug engine in the back, becuase the shifter is an EMPI
The blue thing on the hood? It's a very early type of bug deflector that works by pushing the wind and bugs to the sides of the car.

The front license plate says "Mad Man" as in Mad Man Muntz... however it looks far too large to be a Nash Metro, but like IXSwede commented, it does look like a Metro

The above two Model As look very similar
this is the first time since last year that I've spotted this hood ornament, it's the only one like it in San Diego, and Tere took two incredible photos of it in this post: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/12/off-all-photos-i-or-my-girlfriend-tere.html
