Honda is recalling 36 656 older Civic Hybrid models to replace a component in the electrical system that could lead to stalling or headlights not working. The recall covers 2006 and 2007 Civic Hybrids in the U.S. and it will replace the DC-to-DC converter in the hybrid powertrain system.
205 Civic Hybrids are affected in Singapore. 2064 models are affected in Canada. In total, 52 887 Civic Hybrid are affected around the world and Honda will be notifying owners if they need a replacement.
