At this point in time, we understand that one person has been killed and 30 workers injured after a wall collapsed in Honda's R&D facility in the Tochigo prefecture in Northern Japan. Production was also disrupted at two plants but one of them has restarted production. The Sayama plant which produces several Honda and Acura models including the Civic Hybrid and certain CR-Vs continues to be closed at this hour. As far as we know, some Honda ready-to-be-transported-to-dealership models are damaged and no word on Honda's full brunt of the damages.
