Honda is denying a report that claims it will temporarily halt U.S. production in May due to parts shortage from the earthquake. Honda plants States-side will continue to operate on a reduced schedule until April 22nd.
Honda has already slashed daily output production in its North American plants from 5 700 to 3 700 units and a further cut may come. Honda is planning to cut output in the U.S. to 50% of full capacity from the current 60%. Sales projections and targets remain.
