Shilpa Shetty has spoken out against accusations she is a marriage wrecker, saying she only started a relationship with her new fiance after he got divorced.
Raj Kundra was separated when he met Shilpa, but his estranged wife publicly blamed the actress for the break-up of the marriage.

However, in this week's edition of Hello magazine, Shilpa refutes the allegations, saying: 'I made it clear to him that our relationship could go no further than friendship until he actually had his divorce.'
The Bollywood star found fame in Britain when she appeared alongside the late Jade Goody in Celebrity Big Brother - winning the series.
The 33-year-old met millionaire Kundra shortly afterwards, but after the two were photographed shopping together the resultant newspaper headlines caused her heartache.
'It actually made me feel physically ill,' she said. 'To be called a marriage-breaker was the worst thing possible. It brought such shame on to my parents, and I felt so bad for their sake.'
Shilpa claims it was only when his divorce was finalised that they began their relaitionship: 'To be honest, I think I was in love with Raj from day one – but I was in denial.'
The couple are planning to marry around October, and Shilpa says she can't wait to start a family.
'I’m desperate to start a family – I just love children, and we’ve a beautiful ready-made nursery. I want at least two children.'
They will be living in a £5million seven-bedroom mansion in Weybridge, Surrey, which Kundra bought when he was still married to his ex-wife

Film star Shilpa Shetty and her business partner Raj Kundra today bought about 12 per cent stake in the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals Jaipur for $16.8 million (about Rs 80.6 crore).

Shetty thus becomes the fourth Bollywood star after Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Preity Zinta to buy a stake in IPL teams.

With this deal, the valuation of Rajasthan Royals has more than doubled to around $140 million in about one year since the cricket franchisee was bought at last year's auction for $67 million, the lowest price paid by its owners Emerging Media (in which Lachlan Murdoch has a stake). The highest price tag for a franchise team was $112 million paid for Mumbai Indian team owned by Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries

Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty shared an emotional hug as they were reunited for the first time since last year's Celebrity Big Brother race scandal.

Goody - who was accused of bullying Shetty during the reality show - met the Bollywood star as she prepared to enter the Indian version of Big Brother, which in an ironic twist is being hosted by Shetty.

Earlier the 33-year-old told of her shock at Goody's decision to participate in the Big Boss.

She said she hoped the 27-year-old's bid to try and make amends would help her lose her 'misconceptions about India.

'When I found out Jade was going to be on Big Brother India I was as shocked as I was when I first met her,' she said.'

'Why would she go through this again? But then part of me was really happy because this is our opportunity to show her true Indian hospitality and how warm and welcoming we are.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty revealed she would love to act in America, but fears roles are limited as she will not kiss anyone.
